Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Government
Alyssa Huberts is a third-year PhD candidate in the Harvard Government Department. She studies urban political economy in Latin America, with an emphasis on the provision of basic services like water distribution and trash collection within megacities. Prior to beginning her PhD at Harvard, Alyssa worked at Ashoka in Mexico City under a Fulbright Binational Business Grant, and at the InterAmerican Development Bank's research department in Washington, D.C.
