Research interests: Youth and generations in the world, youth protests, intergenerational relationships, social emotions, cross-country comparisons.
Cecile will spend this year finalizing her book about the rise of social anger within younger generations around the world. It is based on a comparative research conducted in Canada, Chile, France, Spain and Hong Kong. She is exploring the links between inequalities, feelings of injustice and social anger among young adults, as well as its multiple political consequences -whether it be revolt, disengagement or populism.
