Research interests: Labor and employment law, nondiscrimination and equality law, the impact of technology on work, databased discrimination and the future of work regulation.

Miriam is exploring how work regulations contribute to inequalities at the labour market, in particular but not only as a result of databased discrimination, through a conceptual framework on the value of work. Her research currently focuses on developing a human rights-based framework to address algorithmic discrimination, exploring the value of work from a socio-legal perspective, rediscovering female contributions to the development of the legal academy and setting out a research agenda for a progressive labour law through worker cooperatives.
