Research interests: Race, ethnicity, and migration in the Americas, the influence of immigration on the social construction of race in the U.S., immigrants' health and healthcare access, immigration and health policy and the experiences of minority faculty in academia. 

Tiffany is writing a book that examines how race, ethnicity and documentation status affected Latin American immigrants’ healthcare access in Boston under policies like the Massachusetts health reform and Affordable Care Act and intensifying anti-immigrant rhetoric and policy. She is also taking on the role of Graduate Director at Northeastern University in Boston.
