Gökce Yurdakul (affiliate 2018-2019), Professor of Sociology, at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is elected as the new director of the Berlin Institute of Migration and Integration Research (BIM) together with renown economist Herbert Brücker.  BIM is a leading migration research institute in Germany and a member of the Federal Migration Center (DeZIM). BIM is celebrating its tenth anniversary with many lectures and events.
